1963年生。1986年本科毕业于湖南师大生物系,1989年、1995年和1998年于湖南农大分别获硕士、博士学位和完成博士后研究。先后到中国科学院、美国加州大学等进行高级访问研究。1989年至2000年在湖南农大工作,1999年晋升教授,2000年任博士生导师。2001年起于湖南大学工作,现任湖南大学生物学院副院长,植物功能基因组学与发育调控湖南省重点实验室主任。1996年获湖南省首届杰出中青年科学基金,1998年获湖南省跨世纪科学与技术学科带头人,2013年再次当选全国生物技术与生物工程教学指导委员会委员。主持国际重大合作项目、国家转基因重大专项、863项目和国家自然科学基金等项目。获得省自然科学奖1项,省科技进步奖3项,国家发明专利6项,在Current Biology, Gene & Development, Plant Physiology, PNAS, Plant Cell和中国科学等刊物共发表论文100余篇。主要研究领域为植物发育生化分析与分子生物学。

Born in 1963,professor at Hunan University. Graduated from College of life science of Hunan Normal University in 1986.Received MS in 1989,and Ph.D in 1995,from Hunan Agricultural University. Visiting scholar research at Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1999 to 2000, at UCLA from 2006 to 2007. Work at Hunan Agricultural University from 1989 to 2000. Since 2001,work at the college of Biology of Hunan university, the associate dean of college, the director of the Hunan Province Key Laboratory of Plant Functional Genomics and Developmental Regulation. Research interests concern the Bioanalysis and Molecular Biology of Plant development mechanism with near 100 publications, and 4 domestic award from Hunan Province.
