2010 年获中国科学院化学研究所理学博士学位。2010-2013 年在中国科学院化学研究所分子纳米结构与纳米技术院重点实验室开展博士后研究工作。随后进入湖南大学生物学院工作，在Nano Letters，ACS Nano，NPG Asia Materials，Small 等国际著名期刊发表论文多篇。
Liu Qiaoling received her PhD in 2010 from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She stay in this institute as a post-doctoral fellow from 2010 to 2013. Currently, she joined in Hunan University as assistant professor.
